This post is now superseded by new Photojunction functionality. If you're uploading your Queensberry album orders using LabFTP, we've just released version 3, with added functionality for ordering prints from QBY online. We're very excited about the online print ordering function – but it's restricted for now to New Zealand clients, so let me talk first about how it impacts on albums. LabFTP 3 integrates more closely with PJ Remix. For example you're no longer asked to provide information that you've already entered in PJ. It also shares Remix's look and feel. Version 3 is no longer a beta, To View More >>

Three points! 1. Investigate and determine your clients needs, limitations, and dreams. 2. Establish design objectives. 3. Exceed your clients' expectations. We set the parameters of size, style, and content from discussions with our client prior to the wedding. Having a series of questions to answer on a sheet means you get the information you need. Album type, size, and budget are the first questions. Then how many albums and what these would do. We gauge their response to our sample albums and ask questions about what might be important. As a soon-to-be groom, here are a few questions I've asked myself while looking through some photographer websites... How do I know whether I can afford you if you don't give me an indication of how much you cost? How do I know whether I can use you if you don't tell me where you are? How do I talk to you if you don't give me your phone number or email address? Couples looking for a photographer want to know whether you're a possibility or not. And if you are... we want to talk to you (not fill out an online contact form and wait for your reply). Why frustrate us by hiding the precise information To View More >>

Remix Final 1.30 is the combination of six months hard work, four beta releases and invaluable feedback from our loyal community... It's the most comprehensive, intuitive and effective version of Photojunction Remix we’ ve ever released. We hope you’ ll think so too. But first up, here's a quick review of the major features first released in the beta releases since 1.25. Remix beta 1.26: A feature packed release which included text functionality , importing PSD ’ s as templates and images, and proof sheets . Remix beta 1.27: The game changer - new interface, managed workflow and built To View More >>

The industrious PJ developers have certainly been busy. They've just posted another new beta that builds on the last release, v1.26. Put them together and we have a transformation. Ever since we first released Remix we've been asked to simplify and streamline the workflow, and we believe we've done that here. As you can see from the screen shot, album set-up has been transformed - reduced to a single screen that can gather up all the information an album vendor needs to make your album (click on the images to see them full-size). This particular screen shot is to order a Queensberry, but the options To View More >>
