Sharon and Dave were married on an early spring afternoon at the beautiful location of Jonah's Whale Beach in Sydney's famously picturesque Northern Beaches. Their photographer Luke Butterly from LB Photography says that "as a couple they're very easy going and the wedding was happy and laid back. The bride has a beautiful way about her which comes through in the photographs, her dress was very elegant and understated which suited her perfectly and set the tone for the whole event. We chose the pool area at Palm beach for the wedding photography and then went to Pittwater for sunset, where on To View More >>

Jennifer from Nova Photography recently changed over to a Workspace hosted site. We had a quick chat with her about the process and why she made the switch. Tell us about yourself and what you do! I'm a Scot/Kiwi, having lived equally on both sides of the globe, I'm a wife and a mother as well as custom portrait photographer! I love to work with families and especially love pregnancy and newborn shoots. Nothing is more amazing to me than creating everlasting memories for my clients and providing them with timeless portraits to look back on and treasure forever! I am also moving in to birth photography To View More >>

DHL recently announced that they are discontinuing their US domestic service (U.S Express) to focus on their more profitable international services. However this change won’t affect our service to you. That’s because the only services affected are DHL shipments being sent from one US location to another. We ship all our international orders direct from our bindery in New Zealand and DHL have assured us that this change won’t affect you or us in any way. We’re working hard to get as many orders as we can dispatched before our December close-down. Rest assured that our expected delivery times To View More >>

Audrey and Xue (Lee) headed home to Taiwan to get married, but approached UK husband and wife photography team Carol and Nicholas Frost (Nicholas Frost Photography) to create something special in and around their current home in Aberdeen, Scotland, on their return. They chose to shoot at various locations around North East Scotland including Castle Fraser, Fyvie Castle, Balmedie Beach and Soul Casino – the idea to really capture the couple’s personalities. Nicholas says that the couple fell in love with their 10×7 Queensberry art album studio samples and commissioned the same for themselves. To View More >>

Everyone has a different workflow, there's no question about it. Most wedding photographers have a shooting season and…the rest of the year. Depending on your clients, album design could be year round, but if you're lucky, you finish your album season shortly after your shooting season. The "downtime" is used for maintaining your business, small shoots, networking, and maybe taking it easier. One of the most important things to take care of during this time is organizing and backing up files. I 'm afraid album files get forgotten sometimes. I can't stress enough, you should back up your files. To View More >>

Lauren and Colin were photographed by Leah Kua at a location that is very special to them - their family property in Kurrajong, New South Wales, Australia. This was their beloved engagement session in preparation for their wedding this year on December 9. They chose a 10x7 Duo to showcase their favourite beloved images as a guest book. This book will eventually become a set, along with their Queensberry wedding album. "Beloved sessions are so incredibly close to my heart as an artist" Leah says, "they are so unique because they capture and celebrate the true beauty and uniqueness of a couples relationship. Thomas & Rachael were married on the 19th June 2010 at St David’s Cathedral, Pembrokeshire, Wales. Their photographer, Ross Grieve says that "St David’s Cathedral is a stunning setting to start an unforgettable day. From St David’s we made our way back to Pointz Castle, Rachael’s family farm, where a huge marquee and everything you could wish for was in the middle of a paddock with the most stunning view. It was the sort of location that did just take your breath away. Rachael in her flowing dress was perfect for images on the cliff tops and Thomas just looked so proud." Here are To View More >>

We've just spent a great Monday afternoon browsing through the submissions for our Bragging Rights campaign, which closed last Friday. Thank you to everyone who participated! We had a terrific response from friends old and new. Plenty of weddings of course, but also engagement shoots, family portraits, maternity, pets, you name it. Different countries, cultures, locations and styles. So that was inspiring, but now comes the hard part – choosing! We're looking for twelve sets of images to showcase on our website, in our new season sample albums and books, and in our blogs and marketing pieces. To View More >>

Ok, the coach has said to pass it to the backs and they will chip and chase. For those who don't know what that means, stop a Kiwi in the street and ask. Or an Aussie. Maybe a Brit or the odd South African … although they do tend to get their forwards to drive it up the middle and kick the pill between the sticks. Sorry, I digress. Coach wants me back on the field, keep it short and get over the line. Come on, Ref, blow the whistle and let's get started! 6. Alignment tools OK, I'm cheating a bit here – this isn't a button but a complete tool kit. But get these working for you and life becomes To View More >>
