Your business model is different Visa,MasterCard and Paypal make huge amounts by clipping a tiny percentage off every purchase we make. Lucky them. Microsoft and Adobe make a fortune by charging hundreds for something that costs them less than a dollar to produce. You’re not that lucky. You have to charge hundreds (or thousands) for something that nobody needs, and only a handful of people want. So … what do you do? How much? There are two questions To View More >>

Our 18x10 albums allow for lots of images, and high impact story-telling with their radical panoramic pages. And they translate perfectly into copy albums for parents and loved ones too. (If you've included lots of small images we recommend 10in copies for albums of this size.) This 18x10 is by husband and wife team Neil and Katherine of Tandem Photography, Christchurch, New Zealand. “This project simply reminds us of how fragile we are. Many cultures portray men as strong – physically and emotionally.” When Ilan from Ilan Wittenberg Photography set out to create his exhibition piece, “The Bare Truth”, he hoped he would break down this stigma and expose and reveal the real man through a series of raw black and white images. “One of the goals of this project is to give men freedom to express their feelings and connect to their emotions. We love meeting New Zealanders doing good things around the world, so it was great to catch up with Rachael and Andy McKenna last night. Born and bred a Kiwi, Rachael has published fourteen books over the course of her career, reflecting her passion for photographing pets and babies. Rachael and Andy have been based in France for the last four years, so no surprise that her latest titles are the delightful The French Cat, The French Dog and Lunch in Provence. Rachael's latest project is The New York Dog. If you're card-carrying dog lovers like us, you'll find the images in this blog post heartwarming. To View More >>

Since then Johannes has qualified as a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photographers and was New Zealand Wedding Photographer of the Year in 2004 and 2005, and winner of the New Zealand Wedding To View More >>

Chaos theory has a metaphor for the way trivial occurrences can have significant consequences: it's the butterfly effect. We're proud of Johannes' post of that name in which he explains why he's a Queensberry partisan. It's about a serendipitous image that won him his first NZIPP Gold, caught Heather's and my eyes … and led to a relationship that's lasted eighteen years. So far. All because his tripod collapsed. That relationship has been positive for us in so many ways, and we hope it's been good for Johannes too. One of the benefits has a really old name: word of mouth. Johannes has a great To View More >>
