Knowing my brother and sister-and-law were receiving their very own Queensberry through photographer Kelly Newland I was super excited and couldn’t wait for their album to hit production! They received their album a few weeks ago and they couldn’t be more thrilled. Brendan and Sophie wed at Souljians Estate Winery here in Auckland, New Zealand. It was a perfect day celebrated with close friends and family. Their album has edged pages and protective corners, unique to any Classic Matted Album. Brendan and his groomsmen arrived in style in an old school chevrolet. Both the ceremony To View More >>

The city of San Francisco was the backdrop for Judy and Andrew’s urban wedding. From the bow-ties to the jazz band, their wedding gave a few nods to the Roaring Twenties. Their wedding and reception was held at City Club of San Francisco in San Francisco, California. Duy Ho Photography was their photographer of the day who is based in San Francisco. The flower arrangements and bouquets by Amy Burke Designs are so sweet and delicate. Click on the image for a closer look. Three months was all Juliane and Chris needed to put together their beautiful DIY wedding. They rented a lovely house for the weekend in Austin, Texas where a small intimate ceremony took place. Their photographer Sarah Jaine Photography describes the day as “Beautiful, unique and truly representative of how I know them to be.” Their album starts with a translucent title page I just love the ceremony shots - Chris and Juliane are glowing. It was a small intimate ceremony with just immediate family and close friends - they even had their friend marry them (he applied for a license). Chris To View More >>

I am always 'oohing' and 'aahing' over destination weddings, and when I came across Brian and Delara’s Bali wedding it was no exception. On the clifftops of Bukit Peninsula, Brian and Delara wed at Villa Latitude in Karang Kembar, Bali. They're both from Perth Australia, and they enjoyed an entire week celebrating, relaxing and having fun with their nearest and dearest. I just love the beautiful soft light captured in their photographs, not to mention the breathtaking location! Brian and Delara said their 'I do's' overlooking the Indian Ocean - It looks stunning! Brian and Delara chose To View More >>

A relaxed garden party was the perfect fit for Chris and Donna's intimate wedding. They wed at Mantells in Auckland New Zealand where quality champagne and canapés were served and French jazz played. If you're flying in to shoot a wedding and the weather's so foul the plane mightn't be able to land, you have every wedding photographer's nightmare. And to say the weather was foul would be an understatement... But the plane did land and Johannes (of Moda Fotografica) had already covered the other bases before heading out to shoot Vicky and Ricky's wedding at French Farm in the South Island of New Zealand. With heavy rain forecast and weather warnings in place, Johannes discussed with the couple what would happen if the weather didn't play nice. He walked them through how it might effect what To View More >>

Relationships with local wedding venues are a great way to build a strong wedding and portrait business, and a beautiful display album featuring the venue works well for both parties. Simon Whitten is a long-standing and valued Queensberry client from Yorkshire in England. His association with the luxury castle hotel Swinton Park is very important to him, and for years his Queensberry sample album has rested on the piano in the drawing room. When the time came to update it, the question was “with what?” These days most of his clients tend towards the 14x10 Duo that Simon prefers. But feeling To View More >>

Simon Whitten of SMW Photography has an interesting perspective on timelessness. He says the albums he's designing today should have looked current ten or twenty years ago, not just years into the future. That's the real test of timelessness, he says. That philosophy underlies his approach to album design - simple and uncluttered. We've featured Simon's work on Queensberry Connects before, but we grabbed this album for the beautifully simple design and the thought behind it ... He created a 14x10 Duo album for clients Charlotte and James and also made a stunning 18x10 Silk display sample for the To View More >>
