“Okay… what should I be offering?” The answer will depend on your clients — and your photographic genre . Each genre requires different presentation. For example, a wedding photographer, with potential sales of hundreds of images, will require completely different products from a landscape specialist offering images intended for wall display. Bear in mind too that the most appropriate printing isn't just a personal preference but will depend on the products you want to offer. In many markets Covid is likely to limit the size of weddings — and therefore wedding photography — for some months yet. And with all the restrictions and uncertainty many weddings are likely to be postponed until next season. But there's an upside! Any 2020 weddings delayed until 2021 and 2022 could make those years busier than normal! Which will be a great "problem" to have, as long as you can cope with the extra work. We’re introducing one of the biggest changes to our book and album line-up in years. Today’s email is to tell you all about it. Our next will be to celebrate with two special offers! For years we’ve offered “free” services with all our albums — free colour correction, free album design, free personal titles, cover motifs and so on. Then, last year, we began experimenting with “unbundling” those services. In other words setting prices for “just the album”, with extra charges for the services if you wanted them. That’s proved so popular To View More >>

We thought we should explain where we’re heading in terms of product development over the next few months. There'll be more to come for sure about other products, but this is it for albums. For now! And although we’re working on major updates, especially to our Flushmount and Studio ranges, regular customers will be pleased to know we’ll be tidying up a few anomalies and aggravations in our systems and resources as we go. Please treat what follows as a road map, not a timetable. We’ll make further announcements as things are released. And of course, there’ll To View More >>

From the Emerald Isle. Our 'Album of the Week' is a beautiful 15x12 Duo Overlay. We love the modern vintage feel of the wedding, and the beautiful emerald green colours look perfect in the matted album. How do you target high-end clients? How do you stand out from the crowd? What types of albums could you, or should you, offer? Those are all good questions. Today we share why Duo albums might be the answer. 01. Turn your images into art What make Duos different are their unique pagemount mats. They frame your images with a striking key line, created by meticulously hand-trimming and mounting each print to fit inside the mat opening — each one presented with the same care and attention as your framed wall art. 02. A package superstar If you're thinking To View More >>
