Nichola and Sunhong wed at the Hermitage Hill in Wellington, rural New South Wales, Australia. It was a warm, intimate wedding with a distinctive 1920's vintage feel. Sheer Image Photography photographed their special day and has designed this lovely album for them. Nichola and Sunhong have chosen Tintoretto for their page stock - a textured, art stock that compliments their images perfectly. About the dress: "I think it had been sold to the vintage seller by a man and the dress had been his mother's wedding dress. The fabric was so delicate that it couldn't be dry cleaned and I To View More >>

If you were reading our blog last month you might have heard I didn't make the best decision when it came to picking my wedding photographer, and I have less than wonderful wedding pictures to show for it. If you missed the posts they were Lessons I learnt from planning my wedding and Why I cut my photography budget. As I mentioned previously however, my husband and I were fortunate to take part in a photo shoot with kiwi photographers A Couple of Night Owls. Though these pictures can never quite replace the missed moments on our wedding day, it is amazing to have such beautiful pictures of us To View More >>

[caption id="attachment_7050" align="alignleft" width="200" caption="Musée 10x7 dark tan; photography and page layout design by Johannes van Kan"][/caption] If you read my Musée story recently, you’ll recall it ended with a cliff-hanger … but it turned out well. You may remember we’d made an album featuring Christian [Oth's] images, but he'd never seen it. We were nervous. Well we finally did catch up, and he loved it. Then Johannes [van Kan’s] album of Virginia and Richard’s wedding won at WPPI. You can view his complete album on Youtube (no audio) or Vimeo (recommended: this is the To View More >>

Lauren and Colin were photographed by Leah Kua at a location that is very special to them - their family property in Kurrajong, New South Wales, Australia. This was their beloved engagement session in preparation for their wedding this year on December 9. They chose a 10x7 Duo to showcase their favourite beloved images as a guest book. This book will eventually become a set, along with their Queensberry wedding album. "Beloved sessions are so incredibly close to my heart as an artist" Leah says, "they are so unique because they capture and celebrate the true beauty and uniqueness of a couples relationship. As To View More >>

We love it when our clients win awards for their work, especially when our albums are involved. Laura and Marilyn of Natural Expressions recently won the New Hampshire PPA 2008 FujiFilm Masterpiece Award for Photographic Excellence with this beautiful album, which they called "a bright future". Winnie and Sean's wedding, held at a beautiful country club in Massachusetts, was all about a colourful palette, so a colourful album was only appropriate. Laura and Marilyn design a 10x7 Pagemount feature album with a Teal Leather Photo Front cover - Teal Leather chosen to complement one of the couple's To View More >>

When your first ever album order catches Queensberry’s eye you’ve got to be pretty pleased with yourself. Especially when you designed it in a program you’ve never used before. Keryn Sweeney of Keryn Maree Photographer recently opened her studio in Auckland, New Zealand, and shot and designed this little gem as a studio sample for the beauty side of her business - an area she’s had plenty of experience in. Keryn recognises the benefits of offering her clients albums, but although she'd come from a well-established beauty and glamour studio she'd never used them before. What made this wedding extra special for US photographer Andy Donnan was that it was the wedding of his grandmother - aged 83. Ruth and Jerry wanted to keep things simple and low-key, and other than the Pastor, Andy and his girlfriend were the only guests present. Andy says, "My grandmother raised me since I was a baby. Effectively, she is whom I call mum and grandma. I love her and am forever thankful. "It was so great to spend a couple of hours photographing for her and Jerry (and for the rest of our families). July is the busiest time of the year for me, so to have the free-time to witness and To View More >>
