A printed portfolio of your work is a great way to attract new clients, land jobs and leave a lasting impression. And you can take it with you — never show up to a meeting empty-handed again! A high-quality, well-edited portfolio signifies the value of your work and helps you stand out from the crowd. These examples illustrate the variety of photographers we create these for, and the different types of books we make for them. Click the '+' buttons for lip-smacking close-ups. This week, 'Album of the Week' goes to Shevan J Photography! Check out this beautiful wedding, captured by Shevan's lovely photography. We love the story of how Shehara and Sachin first met too, and the cultural intermix of Buddhist, Hindu and Christian too. "Sachin and I first met  at  my 18th birthday in 2009. He had just moved to Melbourne from Sydney. He didn’t know many people at the time but fortunately had made a few friends in his first week who convinced him to come to my birthday drinks. Somehow, a month later, I was dating the random stranger from To View More >>

If you build your business on In-Person Sales, you have a huge advantage over competitors who can't — or won't — do the same. Online is great to get your name out there, great to sell prints to friends and family, fantastic for high volume, low price print sales … but, for high-end sales, getting face-to-face with your clients, in your studio, is best. In future posts, we'll talk more about sales strategies. This post is just about the benefits of buying Studio Boxes in bulk, by which we mean carrying your own stock of mats and boxes in To View More >>

Following the opening of The Papatuanuku Series we spoke to Tessa Williams from Moemoea Collective about the idea behind the work, and the launch itself. "Man, it really was just the most incredible evening! The atmosphere was on fire, with everyone who attended blown away, not only by the photos but the launch itself. I knew that the majority of the 150 who attended had never had the pleasure of going to an art launch, so I did everything I could to ensure they had the same experience as a regular gallery-goer, in the hopes to start them on their own art journey." "Young working families are usually To View More >>

We saw this album with photography by Simon Darby of Wanaka Photography as it went through the Bindery. It showcases not just beautiful photography of Kate and James' lovely wedding, but the stunning New Zealand landscape. Wanaka is a tourist and holidaymaker destination, and the subject of much iconic New Zealand photography. The album also shows some of the features that make our Duo unique. The album has a Buckram Carbon cover with Futura embossing. The matted pages are Pagemount style, with a keyline around the prints created by carefully hand trimming To View More >>

We are in love with this wedding and album! The  gorgeous wedding was photographed by Natalija Brunovs from We Are All Stardust, Australia. Check out that beautiful custom embossing, complete with gold foil! Colour co-ordinating your album with your wedding outfits is such a great idea, especially when they're gold and royal blue. The gold foil looks great with our Starry Night Buckram. In fact all of our Buckrams look great embossed. You can request custom embossing and gold or silver foil by emailing us. Please state the album type, size, and cover material you will To View More >>

The presentation boxes our albums come in don’t even bear our name, but to us, and our customers, they're a key part of our identity, and express the quality and classic design we stand for. Like Tiffany’s Blue Boxes … but maybe not quite as famous! Our boxes must be intensely practical too, and work across a huge variety of sizes, colours and cover materials. So when we redesigned them in 2016 we didn't throw out the old ones, we refreshed and upgraded them — with more silkscreen passes, new colours and matching grey To View More >>

Tessa Williams from Moemoea Collective is a family portrait photographer based in Upper Hutt, Wellington, New Zealand. "Whanau is my first priority in life, so I love to photograph others who feel the same. My style is contemporary, relationship-focused imagery filled with lots of life, and I want my client experience to leave you feeling celebrated, valued and with great pride in sharing your story with your loved ones. "I will be exhibiting my first collection of original artwork celebrating the connection between wahine hapu (pregnant women) and Papatuanuku (our earth mother), embracing To View More >>
