Katy Perry gets 65,000 Facebook Likes for changing her Facebook picture, so she probably won't be impressed by this - but we thought an album we featured on our blog last month did really well! It got 251 Facebook Likes (and counting), 18 pins, a couple of tweets and a few comments. Our record is 599 Facebook Likes, set last year by a popular kiwi radio jock's wedding album - he posted about it on his own page, causing a nice little uptick in our google analytics. But Katy Perry and Vaughan Smith are "celebrities" with big audiences, and Nichola and Sunhong aren't. So why did their album (and To View More >>

We’re truly grateful to the hundreds of photographers from around the world who took part in our Bragging Rights promotion. Last weekend we had the pleasure of sending Michelle along as a Queensberry representative to Kate Robinson's 'Planted With Light' photography workshop and seminar. We had a taster range of albums, books and lab products on display and Michelle happily chatted with the attendees throughout the day. Kate's workshop was meticulously planned and delivered. At the start, Kate said that she would be open and sharing with her business and photography knowledge. She was true to her word! Topics covered included marketing, planning, preparing and managing a wedding shoot, paperwork and administration, To View More >>

We met through a mutual workplace in 2008, and started second shooting weddings for each other. • How do you promote your business and build your brand? We work hard to create a strong 'word of mouth' brand. We also take advantage of the internet as much as we can To View More >>

Following on from Sonya's post about loving photos, and the thought 'what would you save if your house was on fire?' I found The Burning House, a website which is absolutely devoted to that very question. The site is an invitation for anyone to post a photo and list of what possessions you'd take with you. It describes the decision as "a philosophical conflict between what's practical, valuable and sentimental". It really does give an insight to your personality, interests and priorities. Not surprisingly many of the posts include photo albums, boxes of photographs, old film and framed To View More >>

Apparently some people think free album design and colour correction is a temporary promotion. No, it’s here for good! Here for good as in permanent. Here for good as in good for you! So here’s how to have a happy New Year with … QUEENSBERRY'S 2014 ALBUM WORKFLOW 1. Upload your image files to Workspace. 2. Order the album (size, cover style, page type etc). 3. Select our free design and colour correction options. 4. Send your order. How’s that for easy? Your work goes out in an album you can be proud of, you pocket maybe 100% mark-up on the sale - and it takes next to none To View More >>
