In case you're wondering after our recent posts — we don’t think digital files are the enemy! Today’s clients expect them. And we know (because digital downloads are such a popular feature in Workspace) that for many photographers, they’re a vital part of a thriving, sustainable business — and when embraced with intention, they can enhance, not diminish, the client experience. They are the first step in a meaningful client relationship. Today’s clients want to share, relive, and carry their memories everywhere. So think of digital To View More >>
As everyone knows, Covid has been very disruptive for business — from product availability to courier services to prices — and it’s starting to feel like the “new normal”. So we’re starting the year with an updated cover material range, and a new strategy to move this forward in the future. We’re excited about it, but we also know that any change can raise questions, which we’ve tried to answer in advance here. We’d love your feedback! Please take a few minutes to read the following, but if you just want to see the updates follow To View More >>

What’s the most important part of an album? Your photography and how it’s presented! That’s why for a while now our primary focus has been on pages … more page types … more and better printing options … album design and proofing tools. But right now we're focused on covers! — giving you and your clients more cover materials to choose from, and even more ways to customise. Last week we announced 22 new cover materials … but that’s only half the story! Now you can take your albums to the next level with our compelling new range To View More >>

Micro-Leather is our most popular cover material, right up there with genuine Classic Leather, and it’s now available as an upgrade for Studio Boxes. These boxes look and feel so beautiful, and we know your clients will love them. You can order them with all the standard Studio Box options (USB, bow closure and embossing). The interiors are also Micro Leather, a beautiful touch that really does scream luxury. They are available in depths to suit 10, 15, 20 and 25 mats. Choose from our six Micro Leather colours: Onyx, Shadow, Ink, Powder Blue, Eggshell To View More >>

The festive season is a great time to promote yourself and let your clients know how much you appreciate them. There's no doubt that photographs make fabulous personal gifts, especially in a nice mat, frame or canvas. Personal touches, and adding value to packages, are good ways to have an impact without breaking the bank. 1. Give something away! Everyone loves a freebie. This could be a loose or matted print, or even a Canvas. These items have relatively short turn-around times, so as long as you hold the giveaway far enough in advance, they will have them by Christmas To View More >>

We’re truly grateful to the hundreds of photographers from around the world who took part in our Bragging Rights promotion. Here, in no particular order, are the people whose work we chose to celebrate the love and laughter, vibrant cultures, dramatic environments and compelling stories we see every day in the books and albums we make... Made By Hand from Queensberry on Vimeo. Want to see what goes into making a Queensberry? We commissioned this brief movie as a way to say thank you to all the terrific people who make our albums … and who make us so proud. Johannes shot the images as he and I walked through the Queensberry Lab and Bindery one afternoon. The photography is all real and unstaged. Johannes created the video and set it to music by Amy Seeley, who has a lot of new fans. Thanks again to everyone involved, including the host of Queensberry photographers whose work you can glimpse along the way. Cheers, Ian PS If you To View More >>
Last week was fantastic! Our free design and colour correction announcement generated more comments and support suite enquiries than anything else we've ever done. And it started a lot of conversations with people about how it would work in practice, and how they could use it to increase their sales.
