I’m dropping my prices … people aren’t spending as much … my bookings are down … I need to go to cheaper albums … I’ve started doing shoot-and-burn … I’m worried about my income. You’ve heard the talk. Are you struggling in the face of competition, recession and demanding clients? Or do you just want to hear someone else’s take on things? As well as our usual Photojunction webinars, we’re hosting two new ones on the most critical issue facing professional photographers: how to survive and thrive in today’s demanding market. Webinar 1: How to sell albums (and why) Thurs To View More >>

With the addition of long time Photojunction fan Angelique Buckley to the Photojunction support team, our support hours have changed slightly to better accommodate our friends in the US and UK. There's a wee gap between shifts due to the switch over between our NZ and US staff, but you'll be well looked after for most of the day - and there's even a bit of coverage for you moonlighters ;) New Zealand: 8am - 4.30pm (Mon-Fri) and 1am - 7am (Tues-Sat) Australia: 6am - 2.30pm (Mon-Fri) and 11pm - 5am (Tues-Sat) UK: 2pm - 8pm and 9pm (Mon-Fri) - 5.30am (Sun-Thurs) US (East Coast): 9am - 3pm (Mon-Fri) and To View More >>

If you haven't been to the Photojunction website or blog lately, you won't recognise them. What's going on? Well, the old PJ site had to go, for several reasons. • Danny was embarrassed by it (me too). • PJ has changed so fast that a lot of the support info was out of date. • There's a bit of misinformation out there (I'll get to that). • And it's high time we came out of the closet… So here's the story: In case you don't know, Photojunction is a Queensberry project. It dates back ten years to when we first realised that any album supplier without a software solution was history (we were To View More >>

[caption id="attachment_7717" align="alignnone" width="500" caption="Click to view image full-size"][/caption] It's been said that the first rule of online social media is, Invest your time, not your money. Which is why it's so hard to do. Let's face it – who has the time? So how about a marketing opportunity that requires just a button-click? We've just snuck (if that's a word) a new feature into Queensberry's Photojunction Resources, and judging by the emails already coming in it's going to be a popular idea. If we're printing and assembling your album, you'll see a question asking if you'd To View More >>

It's been a while, but this year Queensberry and Photojunction are returning to PMA's Digital Life Expo in Melbourne, Australia. We love opportunities like this to meet old friends and make new ones … and we hope you’ll be among them. Queensberry is for people who believe that the way to succeed is to stand out from the crowd, not join it, and we have two new projects to talk to you about: 1. As you may know Apple chose Queensberry as one of “the world’s finest bookmakers” to introduce their album design and ordering service in Aperture 3. Far from us to say why they chose us, so come To View More >>

Our dear friend, Ian. Most of you haven't met him, but there's a good chance he's saved your bacon once or twice. Ian Cameron has been a crucial member of the Photojunction team, and is leaving us to head back down-the-line to his home town. The trend in the tech industry is to skip jobs every 18 months or so looking for the new best thing, but that hasn't been the case for us and certainly not for Ian. Ian has been with us for 6 years, I hazard a guess he's answered over 40,000 emails and 12,000 phone calls! This doesn't include tireless work on resources, bug busting, and in the ol' days, CD To View More >>

In just a few days the Queensberry team will be heading off to the excitement and bedlam of WPPI and FOCUS. If you’re still using Photojunction Retro, an updated set of album resources has been released to reflect Queensberry’s new season range. These include new album formats and cover materials, and updated personalised title and cover options. You’ll need to download these resources so you can order the new products – and also to ensure that the orders you send us are accurate, complete and comply with our requirements. If you haven't done so already, now may be the time to upgrade to PJ Remix. Then you won’t have to worry about updating your resources as Remix does it automatically (provided To View More >>
