Sometimes it's nice to reminisce... When we started to rewrite Photojunction we named the master file "PJ Jr." as a joke - that name still stands as our project name today... some 3 years later. All the full time developers we started with for the rewrite, are still with us. It took 3,000 development hours to get Remix to a stage where we could send it to other staff to have a look. That would've taken one person a year and a half to complete on their own. My personal favourite email... One of our beta testers emailed to tell us she considered PJ Remix to be a 'metro' bit of software. The developers To View More >>

This screen appears immediately after you send your album order, and that blue link is a quick-smart way to squeeze the value out of the work you've just done and help boost your income. Click it, and the templates from the album you've just designed, confirmed and ordered will be automatically uploaded to the Photojunction Store ready to be sold. All you'll have to do is fill out a few important details in the Sell window, like a short item description and how much you want to sell your collection for, and hit Done. Try it next time you send an order. Cheers, Nigel To View More >>

The industrious PJ developers have certainly been busy. They've just posted another new beta that builds on the last release, v1.26. Put them together and we have a transformation. Ever since we first released Remix we've been asked to simplify and streamline the workflow, and we believe we've done that here. As you can see from the screen shot, album set-up has been transformed - reduced to a single screen that can gather up all the information an album vendor needs to make your album (click on the images to see them full-size). This particular screen shot is to order a Queensberry, but the options To View More >>

Continuing our tour of the major new features in the latest beta, check out this movie on Queensberry Connects about the FTP functionality we've built into v1.26b. We've added an upload function to the Order Wizard so you no longer need LabFTP. It's automatic, so you don't need to think about it – Remix just uploads everything the supplier needs. Even our resident geeks like not having to think for themselves. Occasionally. Cheers, Ian PS The Order Wizard only works with participating album suppliers - we're happy to talk to yours! Johannes accused us of hiding our light under a bushel. Not very nice. Is it our fault his friend doesn't know Remix can export HD slideshows? Probably, so here goes. Remix can export HD slide shows ... or iPhone slide shows ... or ... why not customise? Just have a play with the Movie Size pop-up on the slide show settings window. My favourite is Custom, so I'm not stuck with the pre-sets. Cheers, Ian To View More >>

Well, we made Photojunction free ... now what? After yesterday's new final we're finalising the development schedule for the next few months. It's always been our goal to make Photojunction the software of choice for wedding and portrait photographers, and we really appreciate the support we get from the thousands of photographers who use it. But we do also recognise that there are four areas where people struggle, or where we can see strong opportunities for improvement. 1, While most people fly through the set up procedure, some people struggle. Maybe it doesn't work as they expect, and therefore To View More >>
