We believe that the best way to sell albums and other products is to create a tailored line that suits your market, personal imagery and brand. And we’ve realised that one little thing standing in the way is that you can’t customise our current cover material swatches to help you do that — select products, materials and colours, and then guide your clients to the right choice. So we've decided to relaunch our cover swatches to suit. We're now offering two different cover swatch tools, to choose your materials and to display them beautifully to clients.  The first is To View More >>

As everyone knows, Covid has been very disruptive for business — from product availability to courier services to prices — and it’s starting to feel like the “new normal”. So we’re starting the year with an updated cover material range, and a new strategy to move this forward in the future. We’re excited about it, but we also know that any change can raise questions, which we’ve tried to answer in advance here. We’d love your feedback! Please take a few minutes to read the following, but if you just want to see the updates follow To View More >>

We're glad to announce that Afterpay (known as Clearpay in the UK) is now supported in Workspace Client Galleries and Print Shop. Afterpay is a payment method that allows your customers to "buy now and pay later". It's particularly popular among ecommerce businesses, and, according to Afterpay, the buy now, pay later approach maximises customer purchasing power. Their retailers report as much as a 50% increase in average order value, and 2-3x more units per transaction. Read on to learn more! What is Afterpay (Clearpay)? Queensberry only sell to approved professional photographers and album designers. However we do get lots of enquiries from people wanting their own album, often to celebrate a wedding, reunion, new babe, family photo shoot or travel adventure. We'd like to help you if we can, so here are two ways to order a Queensberry album if you're not a professional photographer.  Talk to your photographer If the photos you want to use were taken by a professional photographer we can only use them if your photographer places the order on your behalf or with the photographer's written permission. This is an updated post about trading arrangements into the UK and Europe, including drop-shipping, now that the Brexit deal is in place.  UK customers We don't expect any change in our arrangements with you. Your orders will continue to be shipped via DHL and you'll continue to be invoiced by our UK company. Shipments may take longer to clear in the short term, simply because HMRC and the UK border authorities will be much busier handling shipments to and from the EU, which until now have not needed to clear customs. Drop-shipping: We can deliver your wholesale orders direct to your clients To View More >>

We often make the mistake of making our marketing about ourselves — what we're doing, and what we need, rather than the value we're creating for our audience. People who write code love what they do, but their customers don't. They just want an app that works. You love photography but your clients love the memories you make for them. Memories or a picture for the wall. When you're thinking about business or marketing campaigns, focus on your customers. What's in it for them? To View More >>

I'm going to be a bit pushy here. Our series on selling albums talks about:  — setting expectations — making it clear you sell them, and why! — making it easy for your clients to buy — not coming across as "pushy or sales-y" etc. I think that's good, sensible stuff — I helped write them, so there's that! — but let's face it, they lack something: ambition. Sales-ambitious or sales-shy? Portrait and wedding photographers come in all shapes and sizes, attitudes and ambitions, but one of the most important things that define them is surely their attitude to To View More >>

“Art is the most intense mode of individualism that the world has known.” –  Oscar Wilde   In this series we shine a light on artists expressing their individuality, documenting what they love, working hard on their craft, and sharing it with the world.   Cole Holyoake is a Wellington based digital illustrator. He's also creatively involved in two tech start-ups and he's "deeply inspired" by influential figures around him.    Cole says his schedule can be chaotic and random — eight hours with a drawing tablet; or a mix of 3D modelling and drawing To View More >>
