He was a wedding photographer whose goal was to clear “100k in 100 Days” from 30 weddings. (The actual figures don’t matter — they just sound snappy — so I’m not going to tell you when, where or in what currency.) Many a photographer has built a profitable business out of shooting 30 or 40 weddings a year, bur Craig’s To View More >>

As we reach our last workday before closing for the holidays we want to send you very sincere thanks for your support over the last year. While the pandemic itself is largely behind us — at least in the sense that people are generally back to “business as usual” — for much of the world the social and economic “hangover” is still with us. Some in our own industry are among those still feeling the after-effects, and our thoughts will be with them this Christmas. But overall our community continues to inspire us with its resilience in adapting successfully to a To View More >>

If the last couple of years have taught us anything it's to be prepared – so we’re sending our holiday guidelines early so you have you plenty of time to plan for the busy season. We always stress that these are guidelines, not deadlines, but we do encourage you to get your orders in by the following dates, to ensure we can deliver them before the holidays. Things are more normal now than last year — no more lock downs, we hope! But supply challenges and/or courier delays are still quite likely, so please don't wait until the last minute. Right now we're in the middle of the pre-Christmas rush. You too, we know! The traffic is heavier on the roads, and faster and more aggressive. The malls are packed, the couriers run off their feet. And now the questions on every Queensberry client's mind are, will I get my order before Christmas — and why will you be closing down over the holidays??? The holiday season stress-tests many businesses, but especially companies like Queensberry, so they're good questions, and deserve an answer… Our challenge Before Christmas, as this little graphic shows, our orders increase by at To View More >>

In many markets Covid is likely to limit the size of weddings —  and therefore wedding photography — for some months yet. And with all the restrictions and uncertainty many weddings are likely to be postponed until next season. But there's an upside! Any 2020 weddings delayed until 2021 and 2022 could make those years busier than normal! Which will be a great "problem" to have, as long as you can cope with the extra work. What that means…  • This year albums will be very important as a way to maximise revenue and profit from wedding clients — both current To View More >>

Hi Everyone, This is a quick message to let you know that New Zealand will be moving from Alert Level 4 to Alert Level 3 on Tuesday 28th April, which means we will be able to reopen production at that time, with strict guidelines to keep our staff safe. Thank you everyone for your patience over the lockdown, and special thanks to those who followed our advice and continued to send their orders in. You — and those whose work we couldn’t deliver before lockdown started — will be at the head of the line on the 28th. And if you do have orders to send, please do so as soon as you To View More >>

We believe successful wedding and portrait photographers need to love two things — taking photos and making sales! So we love to see our clients running promotions, and we like to help with them if we can. You can run successful promos for any number of reasons, for example a  Winter Sale, an offer to past clients or to book new ones. Or to promote a good cause, your new products, or your new website. The point is they're YOUR promotions. We're just here to help if we can, generally with 15% additional discount on all Queensberry To View More >>
