It's nearly the holiday season again, so what better way to celebrate than with a wedding held on the 1st of January this year with a little bit of that christmas feeling! Yukiko and Alex were married at The Church of the Ascension in Burghclere, Hampshire, England, and photographed by Ryan Browne. The reception was held at Highclere Castle which is the set of the ITV drama Downton Abbey and is an amazing setting for a wedding. Ryan says "It was a winter wedding, and with the ceremony quite late on in the day Yukiko and Alex chose to have their portraits shot before the Church ceremony. There is To View More >>

Carla and Tim got married on the 4th of June 2011 at Whirlowbrook Hall. Here's what Carla said about her photographer. "Steve Gerrard was one of our first wedding bookings. His style of photography is artistically modern with more than a hint of super-cool. Because you’re around your photographer a lot, it’s really important to get someone who is on your wavelength & Steve was very much that. Through Steve’s pictures, I could kind of get an idea how our wedding was going to be portrayed and what our album was going to end up like which was really exciting." They are a very cool couple To View More >>

Ashley Loh and Chad Mumm were married at Sodo Park in Seattle on August 20th this year. They were photographed by Laurel McConnell. Ashley's style was romantic, she had her grandmother’s broach re-purposed into a handmade birdcage veil and also wore a really stylish silk belt. And Chad was very James Bond in his tux! The venue was beautiful and historic - set in the heart of the industrial district. Their decor was romantic yet rustic, with herbs for the boutonnieres and eucalyptus candles scenting the room. They even had signature cocktails concocted just for them by a well known New York To View More >>

Lauren and Colin were photographed by Leah Kua at a location that is very special to them - their family property in Kurrajong, New South Wales, Australia. This was their beloved engagement session in preparation for their wedding this year on December 9. They chose a 10x7 Duo to showcase their favourite beloved images as a guest book. This book will eventually become a set, along with their Queensberry wedding album. Thomas & Rachael were married on the 19th June 2010 at St David’s Cathedral, Pembrokeshire, Wales. Their photographer, Ross Grieve says that "St David’s Cathedral is a stunning setting to start an unforgettable day. From St David’s we made our way back to Pointz Castle, Rachael’s family farm, where a huge marquee and everything you could wish for was in the middle of a paddock with the most stunning view. It was the sort of location that did just take your breath away. Rachael in her flowing dress was perfect for images on the cliff tops and Thomas just looked so proud." Here are To View More >>

Shwetha and Matt were married on July 2, 2011 at the Springfield Country Club in a traditional Christian service. To complete their 'tale of two cities', they are also heading to India in November for a Hindu wedding ceremony. They were photographed by Michelle Lindsay Photography - and here's what Michelle said about their wedding day. "I think what I love the most about Shwetha and Matt is how easy going they are. They love to laugh, which makes being around them extremely comfortable. Since Shwetha lived in NYC, we hadn't been able to do an engagement session so the wedding day was their first To View More >>

Here's a beautiful press book of a collection of landscapes and seascapes on the West Coast of Scotland, photographed by Simon Mark Whitten of Firehorse Photography. Simon say's "the images were a few snaps that I took (mainly with a compact camera) on holiday recently for a few days with my family!" Those 'few snaps' look absoloutely stunning in black and white, printed on Queensberry's Pearl Metallic paper stock. Take a look at a few layouts. To see more of Simon's work, click here. Enjoy! To continue my rave on The Junction earlier in the year about image slicing and dicing, here are a few thoughts about designing a pressbook with particular consideration to keeping your mind (and your clients' heads) out of the gutter! Photojunction makes designing a Queensberry album very easy and FAST. But while the layouts look very similar on-screen between albums and press books - in reality these two products are vastly different. When you're working on screen it's really easy to forget that a press book is, well, a book, and the pages don't lie flat. Queensberry press books (like most other To View More >>
