Today’s the day! We’re ready to launch Workspace’s new Print Shop feature.  Conscious of the struggles that photographers and artists face — including our own customers — It’s been a dream of ours for a long time now to build an eCommerce solution for creatives who want to sell their work as decor and works of art online. Sure, there are plenty of eCommerce solutions out there, but while they’re good, as far as they go, they don’t fix specific problems that many photographers and artists face… Do these sound familiar? • Big platforms To View More >>

There are 10,000,002 ways to create a Queensberry … approximately … but who's counting?! We’re proud of our huge range of materials, colours, cover styles, page types, paper stocks, and embossing and print options. With them you can create something truly unique. "We are Pavel and Yana - professional wedding photographers, based in Sydney, who  specialise  in natural, genuine and emotive story-telling To View More >>

Here's a look at what goes on in the Queensberry printery — prints, album layouts and canvases being created under the expert eyes of our technicians. Quality is paramount to us. Queensberry print makers Chris and Alex chat about some of our print options, and their own hands-on, eyes-on approach. Printing your photographs is a hands-on process at Queensberry, and we're sticklers for detail — every step is subject to strict scrutiny, and monitored closely from start to finish. But preparing your files properly is just as important to getting To View More >>

Time is a valuable resource in any business, but especially photography. With that in mind, it makes sense to make the most of it, and to ask yourself, can I do things more efficiently? If I could outsource something, should I? Is what I'm doing even necessary? Here are four ways to optimise your time and make the most of every shoot. 1. Outsource Ask photographers why they got into portrait and wedding photography and they'll say how they love photography … or telling love stories … or connecting with clients on their special days. How many Images should I include in my album? We get this question on a day-to-day basis and it’s always tricky to answer. How big is the album? What’s your style? Do you like big images or lots of white space? Do you have a story to tell? But we understand that photographers do need to guide their clients. Submitting 300 images for an 8x8 album just won’t work. Sometimes you’ll have thousands of shots from an event and your first challenge will be selecting the hundred or so to go in the album! So here’s the guide our designers use when creating album layouts. Just To View More >>

A long post but full of insights! Andy Fountain explains how he and Lewis developed their unique style of wedding photography, how almost every coverage includes an album, and the pay-off for both their clients and the studio. There are two photographers at Fountain Photography. How do you and Lewis work together to capture the big day? Lewis is now my business partner, rather than simply an employee and second shooter. Mid-photography degree, we brought Lewis in to the business with the idea of eventually shooting two weddings a day, and making twice the profit. But while To View More >>
