SEARCH RESULTS FOR: Clients

Here's how it works Assuming you’re logged in to Workspace, and your client’s images and albums are ready to share... 1. Click Client Sites in the Workspace top navigation. This takes you to a page that lists any sites you’ve already set up. 2. Click Create New Client Website. You can create one site on the Free or Basic plans, but otherwise you'll need Pro or Pro+ (click here for Workspace plans, prices and features). 3. Give the site a name, which will be used as the site title, and a user-friendly URL. You can also add some text, which will appear at the To View More >>

What if you could make a bride-to-be's site a core part of her event planning? In my last post I explained how you could publish a Workspace client website in just a few minutes, but you can add far more impact with some optional extras that take just a few minutes more... Imagine it's months before the wedding and you've done an engagement shoot. You upload the images and create a new site for the couple as I described last time, but with two optional features added: 1. An event details page, with the wedding date, location and other details. 2. A gift registry. Imagine! Instead of buying the To View More >>

If capturing a fleeting moment thrills you … if beautiful light makes your heart beat faster … if you dream about composition in your sleep… if you love telling stories with pictures - we'd love to hear from you. It's that time again - we're looking for new images to showcase on our websites and in our new season sample albums and books, as well as in our blogs and marketing pieces (including our new Queensberry Bride landing page). We’re looking for sets of around 80 images, but to enter all you have to do is send us TEN low-res images* from up to TWO different events - a wedding, portrait To View More >>

We've just updated Workspace with some beautiful new viewing options for your client website. The slideshow view hasn't changed but we've increased the image size in the standard thumbnail view, and added two options that we know you'll love - Square and Masonry. So you can see the difference I've made three screen shots with the same images (by James Yeats-Brown). Masonry view Square view Basic Thumbnail (no cropping) Workspace's default is to display your events as slideshows, but you can change it to your favourite thumbnail view (or tweak the slideshow) under Settings > Website Settings To View More >>

At Queensberry we say our ideal clients are mid to high end photographers, and those who aspire to be. Oh, and we love it if you buy albums! So in our recent album pricing survey one of the questions we asked readers was, how many albums do you sell? Over half our respondents said less than ten a year. Ten albums a year doesn't seem a lot, so does that mean the world is ending for albums and the people who sell them? Not at all. Nothing's changed. Albums have always been a way of standing out from the crowd and up-selling. In the old days most photographers sold the negatives or a stack of prints. To View More >>

So you've gone to the trouble of uploading images and setting up price lists for Queensberry Print products, hoping to make some extra income for Christmas. But there's one more thing to do. Your work and images will just disappear into the lonely reaches of the internet unless you make a noise... Remember the internet is NOT like a shopping mall. People can't just walk past and see what you've got in your window. So think of Workspace like a soapbox. You need to stand up on it and draw a crowd. Not that it's hard! First, let your past clients know about the fantastic new products on offer. Give To View More >>

When our friends from NZTE (New Zealand Trade and Enterprise) wanted a customised book designed for Judith Thompson, the retiring Director of Better by Design, we were more than happy to jump aboard. The brief was for Queensberry to design, print and bind a book filled with photos and personal messages supplied by staff, clients and friends from her time with NZTE. Click on the images to take a closer look. Judith’s overall responsibility included a range of design education initiatives including the regional CEO talk series, study tours to Silicon Valley and Better By Design's annual CEO Summit. We love seeing our clients coming up with innovative new marketing ideas. Andy Donnan received his new Queensberry Starter Kit and tweeted about an idea he had to show his out-of-town clients... And we asked him if we could share. Many of his clients won't get the opportunity to see or touch his albums, so he wanted to give them an up close and personal album viewing experience, but which they could have from anywhere in the world. I won't say too much more except check out how Andy introduces his Queensberry album offerings here (click on the image to play). Cheers, Nigel To View More >>

If you're flying in to shoot a wedding and the weather's so foul the plane mightn't be able to land, you have every wedding photographer's nightmare. And to say the weather was foul would be an understatement... But the plane did land and Johannes (of Moda Fotografica) had already covered the other bases before heading out to shoot Vicky and Ricky's wedding at French Farm in the South Island of New Zealand. With heavy rain forecast and weather warnings in place, Johannes discussed with the couple what would happen if the weather didn't play nice. He walked them through how it might effect what To View More >>

We'd never been to Lyttelton until a couple of years ago. At school we'd all learnt it was Christchurch's port, but that didn't mean you had to visit. Now everyone knows it's at the epicentre of Christchurch's earthquake. The reason I did eventually visit Lyttelton was to catch up with Johannes van Kan and Jo Grams. It's a fabulous little town, with a nice traditional pub (you walk down the corridor to the bathroom, just like the old days), lots of local music, good restaurants, great coffee, a beautiful setting. And in centre of the town the original, often funky, sometimes beautiful, apparently To View More >>
